Terms of Service

These Terms apply to use of the Drainr website and services provided by Drainr Pty Ltd. By using our website, booking a service, or accepting a quote, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Drainr provides plumbing, drainage, pipe relining, inspection and related services across Sydney and surrounding areas. All services are subject to site conditions, access, safety requirements and confirmation following inspection.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including CCTV inspections where applicable.
  • Where possible, we provide fixed pricing confirmed onsite before work begins.
  • If unforeseen conditions are discovered (for example: collapsed pipe, concealed damage, restricted access, non-compliant prior works), we’ll discuss options and pricing with you before proceeding.
  • Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote unless withdrawn earlier.

3. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required to secure booking dates, materials and equipment.
  • The remaining balance is payable on completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments can be made by card or EFT as outlined on your invoice or quote.
  • Failure to make payment may result in recovery action and associated costs (where permitted by law).

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee, particularly where materials, labour or specialist equipment have already been allocated.
  • We may reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, access issues or unforeseen operational circumstances.

5. Access & Site Conditions

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Access to power and water where required
  • Pets, vehicles and personal belongings are kept clear of work areas

Drainr is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions or undisclosed site issues.

6. Pipe Relining & Drain Works

  • Pipe relining outcomes depend on pipe condition, alignment and structural integrity.
  • Some pipes may not be suitable for relining due to collapse, deformation or prior non-compliant repairs.
  • Where connections to utility assets (including Sydney Water infrastructure) are involved, we may manage reporting and coordination where required; however, outcomes can depend on third-party authorities.

7. Warranties

  • Where applicable, warranties (materials and/or workmanship) are as stated in your quote or documentation.
  • Warranties do not cover misuse, external damage, ground movement, root intrusion beyond lined sections, or unrelated downstream issues.

8. Photography & CCTV Footage

  • We may take photos or CCTV footage before, during or after works for documentation, reporting and quality assurance.
  • Footage may be shared with you and, where required, insurers, councils or relevant authorities.
  • We won’t use identifiable site imagery for marketing without consent.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with its operation or security
  • Copy or reuse content without permission

All website content remains the intellectual property of Drainr unless stated otherwise.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Drainr is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you are entitled to under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms for bookings, payments, job management and proposals. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and store data.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
